Well if you read my last blog, you will know that I'm not very good at this blogging thing. I said I would do it more this year, but it is now August and 7 months have past by with no blogs in sight until now.
I had been working a part time job and trying to keep Maus Wear alive and strong. Not to mention raising 2 wonderful children and having a life with my husband. Just a bit busy. Too busy to blog I guess.
I have since quit that part time job and I have decided to open up a daycare in my home. Maus Haus Home Daycare will be open for this September.
I have been busy moving the Maus Wear Head Quarters into another part of my home and making room for Maus Haus Home Daycare. Still waiting on some drywall work to be completed and tiles to go down, but other than that the daycare is almost ready.
Maus Wear will only be showing at a few shows this fall. Orders can still be made over the website, www.mauswear.com. I have just put some great items on sale on the site. Great for new babies that have arrived or start your Christmas shopping early. The Maus Wear Shop is still open in my home, shop by appointment, email me at trina@mauswear.com
Well I must get back to painting now and CLEANING, we mustn't forget about that.
I will try and make it a point to keep up with this blog.

It's Been Awhile!
Well 2009 is over and a new year is already one month gone. After starting up this Maus Wear blog back in the summer of 2009, my life got a little crazy-busy and I didn't get to write much at all.
I hope 2010 will be different...I will make it different.
At the end of 2009 I declared that the new year would be 'The Year of Money'...and so far it is looking good.
Apron orders have been good...watch out for 'The Great Tomato' children's aprons at some Supper Works locations maybe near you. Bring your child sessions at Supper Works are terrific! Your child will get to help you prepare meals, while wearing an awesome Maus Wear apron.
Maus Wear will also been joining in the Hamilton Baby Expo on Saturday March 6th in Ancaster, check out www.mauswear.com for more information or go to www.hamiltonbabyexpo.com
Maus Wear will again be exhibiting at the BabyTime Show at the International Centre in Mississauga April 30-May 2, 2010
I am working with some new fabrics and gearing up for these springtime shows. Tonight I finally got back to sewing and doing what I like to do best...creating something from nothing. The fabric lays on my sewing table just waiting for me to cut and create. I love it!
I promise I will get blogging more. Stayed tuned.

Milton Fun Fair this Saturday June 6th, 2009
This Saturday June 6th, Maus Wear will be heading to Milton, ON. For the 16th Annual Milton Community Resource Centre Fun Fair...
...The Fun Fair is a children’s carnival with many events and activities for families to enjoy in Victoria Park in downtown Milton. In addition to a barbecue and silent auction, families will participate in face painting, bounces, rock-wall, craft tables, fish pond, mini-putt and other alley games. We are pleased this year to offer a free event, the MasoniCHIP Child ID Program as part of the day’s activities. In past years we have hundreds of families attending, and last year were able to raise $17,000 which went directly back into the programs offered by MCRC.
The Fun Fair runs from 10am 4-pm
Hope to see you there!

My sweet Maus Wear...
As I was googling Maus Wear tonight I came across this link below...
http://www.mysweetbaby.ca/national/baby_gear/8768/aye_matey/
Maus Wear is making heads turn and people are taking notice. Hooray!!! Finally people are realizing that they want to dress their children cool.
I recently had a photo shoot done of my own children in Maus Wear and Sticks N' Stones gear. Just saw some of the pictures today...fantastic! Okay, okay, I am a little bias, since they are my own children and my own products, but wait until you see the pictures...I think you will agree. Hopefully I will be able to update my website with some of these pictures in the next couple weeks.
Until then...stay cool kids!

Maus Wear is blogging now!
Maus Wear is finally into the blogging phase. Here you can find out what is happening in the Maus Wear world of cool stuff for cool kids. If you check out www.mauswear.com you will find some really cool things for babies, toddlers and BEYOND!
When I first started up Maus Wear in 2005, I certainly got some looks from customers, not to mention some crazy comments. Some people could not believe their eyes when the came across the Maus Wear booth at trade shows in the area. "Who would put skulls on a baby?" These comments were referring to the bibs I made from a skull and crossbones print. Well, 4 years later and Maus Wear is still creating stylish items, many using the 'skull' theme. And people are LOVING it!
I still get some nasty comments occasionally, but as I have said, 'it's not for everyone'. Over the last 2 years, I have found that more customers and other companies are catching on to the 'skull' theme because there are more products out there for kids of all ages. It's great, because now Maus Wear carries some really cool shoes by Jack and Lily, to co-ordinate with the dresses, onesies and t-shirts that can be found on www.mauswear.com. So if you haven't already checked out my site, please do so now. Start dressing your babies cool right from birth.
